Week 7 – Josh does the biz

September 16, 2009
It’s been a very productive week so far, from birch sappling clearance on Monday at Coombe Heath, to many jobs on site at Beacon Hill.

On Tuesday Becky, Franky, Nikkii, Sam and Ruby became removal men and took the minibus out to Poole to pick up some funiture from a long time volunteer’s house to take to her friends house in Bournemouth. Then from here we moved more furniture to another house.

After a trip to McDonalds on the way back we decided that the blog was in desperate need for updating so spent the rest of the afternoon doing that, and various people spent parts of Wednesday doing this also.

Wednesday was spent at Beacon Hill doing site maintainance in the car park, with Matt, Josh, Franky, Nikkii, Toby, Migel, Sam with Becky and Michelle joing in the afternoon. Pot holes were filled in and 2 flower beds were created at the back.

Working??

It was decided that the notice board at the front of the building was in need of a face lift and so Franky, Nikkii, Becky and Michelle painted the board yellow and found lots of new exciting things to stick on to it at a later date.

It ain't great but its better than what it was

Matt was in charge of the BBQ… oh dear.

Can we fix it? Matt says 'Yes we can'
