Blog by Josh

We went to Greenhill down so that we could help wardens Andy and Nigel + Amanda plus the grazier, a gentleman called Gary Clarke (who works for the grazing animals partnership)  transport some cows. (formally the residents of corfe mullen meadows) you could say we mooooooved the cows. awkward. first we had to get the plastic gates from up at golf links heath and load them on to the trailer. 2) meet up with Andy, Nige, Amanda at the cows current home. 3) prepare barriers using plastic fences. then we encouraged the cows into the trailer

an artists impression of what it would have been like

due to the camera being unavailable (sam left it in his car, no comment) we have had to illustrate with more traditional methods.

On Thursday Sam and the team were at lorton to start building a board walk across a ditch. this involved removing an old post. it was an awkward  job carried out well by the team.

The early purple orchids were there for everyone to enjoy

the only problem is the slugs will get them says david

the chaps work on the post

What with pine pulling at higher hyde and pond stuff at Beacon hill it has been a busy week.
